New build farm house
We love to showcase projects where we have been lucky enough to work with local builders and developers. We are fortunate to form partnerships with numerous reputable companies which have resulted in some outstanding collaborations.
One company in particular that we have a long-standing and excellent relationship with is Jebson Construction Ltd, a well-known and highly-reputable builder.
We had worked with them on a multitude of projects over the years when Managing Director Marc Jebson came to our office with plans for a young family’s new home. It was to be built to a very high specification in the heart of the Holme Valley, with stunning views over the local countryside.
We were to supply various oak framed elements throughout the build
Notable ones were the roof trusses, a rear kitchen extension that had frames sandwiched between the masonry walls and a large glazed frame to the stairwell. The brief required the glazing to be very large and unbroken so the view could be enjoyed to a maximum.
The glass for this frame was so large it had to be lifted in with a spider crane.
The house was built into the sloping ground so that from the front it appears to be a single-storey bungalow, but to the rear it is a full two-storey property.
The internal fit out is exceptional and ties in well with the prestigious oak frames to create a truly breathtaking family home
